Like you, I&#039;ve had to make apologies, too, at those times and forgive myself and just pick myself back up.  I&#039;ve learned one thing, though: I won&#039;t let myself check email anymore after a certain time in the evening -- whether it&#039;s good or bad news, it can wait until the next day when I can deal with whatever it has to say refreshed.  Had too many of those moments myself that you so richly (and painfully) described.  :)</description>
